I've had previous employers that have given poinsettas, gift cards, even turkeys!!!! One employer had a neat idea. We all picked a number from a hat, and then there were a room full of items to be chosen, gift cards to spas, restaurants, etc. I think almost any gift is appreciated if a little thought is put into it.

christmas ornaments.....wrap them in tissue paper then wrap those in colored toule like a piece of candy and then tie each end with a bow......I like the idea of being able to personalize the gift to the likes of the coworker(the way i would do it)or buy all the same leaving even the tagging and dispensing easy.
