if you can define "reality" and you are rigid about this, then i would call you mentally unstable.

Okay... "rigid reality" is a theory, and -- simply by the fact that you state that "many WONDER" -- only CONSIDERED.

Does that make the person who wonders mentally unstable? No. In fact, I think they are being extremely open-minded.

The scientific method of proving anything (concept or otherwise) involves brainstorming an idea, testing it, then accepting or discarding it accordingly.

Reality is not rigid at all and the people who understand that it isn't can be just called perceptive. No need to prove anything, one way or the other.
