it seems that Henry thinks too much about passing instead of shooting inside the box and i think giving Gilberto the captaincy and letting Henry run free would help

No, a better option is let Gilberto be captain and sell Henry away!

Both are able captains in my opinion...it's just that Gilberto does more of the dirty, unselfish work required of a midfield destroyer and is thus correctly viewed by many as an ideal captain. Still, I think Henry enjoys the added responsibility of being captain. He must think of the team first, and as a result, I think he realizes he can't be so trigger happy. This is especially so with Van Persie lined up next to him, who will shoot at anything from anywhere.
If footie were an individual sport, I think Van Persie could be the world's greatest....but it's a team sport. :)

Good thinking, it would free Henry up from doing 'captain things' and allow him to do 'star player' things unhindered. Better still, why not make a centre half the captain? He canstand back and watch the game happeningin front of him, then give instructions as and when needed. A central midfielder has a very important technical job to do and it would be better to also free him up and let him do that.

Not Gilberto but this man named Alumina would fit in.
