HELP! i want to be cheerleader but i'm not that flexible and i know noyhing about cheerleading and not to mention i could lose a pound or two. HELP WANTED!!!!!!!

Don't worry about weight, that's not important.

Here is some information that will help you with motions, jumps, voice control, emotional projection, exercises and stretching, jumps, stunt building, and tumbling. (The last two really should only be done with a qualified coach, but you can certainly read about them and be as informed as possible before you go take lessons.)

Well you should start by getting flexable... stretch your legs exspecially. Get the muscles in your legs strong. Your arms too. It will also help to get enrolled in to gymnastics. Learn the diffrent types of jumps and practice them.

one thing you need to do if you are not flexible is to do the splits alot... try when you are watching tv or doing homework sitting in the splits, yea it will hurt but it will eventually get better.

You don't have to be tiny!
Really!
Just spirited! Very!
But you should work on stretchins (I put stretchins on purpose)
*Do splits, all three ways
*jumps Pencil,than herkies, then pikes, and toetouches, and any other ones
*Do bridges if you can't do a backbend
*work on kicking out of the bridges.
*If you tryout STAY TIGHT!!!!
(That is IMPORTANT!!!!)
VERY!!!
LIKE REALLY!!!
*Stay hyped!
*B-E A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E!
*Don't EVER give up!!!

practice a littile 30 second ru-teen and go over it with a friend or someone and when you think your ready go 4 it or wacth bring it on and memorize it and keep rewinding

I'm a gymnast, and no offense, but cheerleading isn't a sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
