Democracy never existed in America. We are a Constitional Representative Republic. It can't die if it didn't exist.

Dumbocracy. It's our own fault. We fell for compassionate conservatism (an obvious oxymoron). We rejoiced in our $300 tax cuts because we know that someday soon we'll be billionaires (and then we'll get the big tax cuts too!). We believed that Saddam Hussein was an imminent threat and also that he was connected to 9/11. We hated the the gays and the illegal immigrants when we were told to; and we voted accordingly. We believed Kerry would make a horrible president (nevermind that the people who convinced of this were the same ones who told us Bush would be just peachy great!). We believed unions are parasites that kill companies but we thought it was fine for CEO's to earn billions while mismanaging their companies into the ground. We believed that corporations should serve only the stockholder who invested a few bucks and the corps. owe no loyalty to their employees or to the city that provided the infrastructure in which they had grown. We believed that the next free trade agreement would be good for us, even though the previous ones had resulted in giant sucking sounds as manufacturing jobs left our country. We believed that ambulance-chasing lawyers and sue-happy patients are responsible for skyrocketing healthcare costs and that the drug companies, and the insurance companies, the for-profit hospitals, and the Mercedes-driving doctors are all innocent. We believed that the media is liberal but that the talking heads at Fox News are Fair and Balanced (because they say they are). We believed that the solution to the poorly-performing public education system is vouchers for a network of private schools that will teach our children that snakes can talk, that Noah built a boatie-oatie, and that evolution is a communist plot. Yep, it really is our own fault.

seem on the balloting record of the representatives in workplace on the time of the conflict. Overwhelmingly, US representation affirmed the will and justification for invasion. in case you needed a referendum, you would have in all probability received one in March 2003, for the U. S. inhabitants became staunchly supportive of eliminating Saddam from ability (which they ought to were, and are contained in the at the moment, as he's on trial). The chinese KILL those who dissent, does the U. S. do this? The chinese tankroll over protestors or deliver them off to make cocktail umbrellas in lice-infested rathole cemeteries for the quickly-to-die, our convicts get CONJUGAL visits and fan mail! You sound like you does no longer comprehend a real democracy if it sat on your lap. Pray the chinese do not impose their version of authorities the position you stay.

I think democracy is alive and well in America, if there is a problem it is with the dumb a** voter who can't see the forest through the trees. 9 trillion in debt and over 3 million people in jail and the voters think we are on the right track as they keep electing the same people over and over. When is enough, enough?

Only the people with mental health issues think that. So I will still say we are a Democratic Republic. Where the hell anyone thought we were a Democracy stumps me.
