1) Check the label on the cleaner to see if there are any instructions.
2) I would think simply going over the cleaned oven with a sponge and clean water would be sufficient to remove any residue.
3) Then pre-heating the oven would probably burn off anything else that might still be left over.

I never use commercial cleaners on my oven as I am allergic...I would hesitate to use my oven as is because Comet does have bleach in it which is caustic...

I sprinkle some baking powder in the oven and then spray it with white vinegar...

Let stand for 15-20 minutes and wipe out the oven

I saw this on Martha Stewart one time and it works great....
