The Polish? Haven't seen that in the news.

I have seen that Islam is taking over. That is probably a more reasonable concern.

Immigration is becoming a problem for the US, as well.

Interestingly, these same countries continue to bash us and their citizens continue to come seeking opportunity.

What do you mean taking over? I don't see any polish politicians, i don't see the polish flag anywhere, i don't see them marching through the streets singing the polish national anthem.

What I do see is a community that has come over here to work, they work long and hard in jobs that us brits don't want so that they can give a good life to thier families. They don't scab off the welfare state like some brits do.

To be honest we could learn alot from the polish immigrants about family life and community spirit and the work ethic that they have.

No they aren't. In fact independent surveys show that they only intend to stay in the UK for two to three years while they do the jobs we Britain's are not prepared to do, and they earn enough money to support their families back in Poland.

You should also remember, before you go spouting your racist claptrap, that it was Polish pilots in World War II, fighting as members of the RAF, that helped to win the Battle of Britain and prevent Hitler from invading and taking over this country.

Get a life ! Poles are free to move and to work within the EU.
Poles have always lived in the UK as a minority community since the pogroms and tribulations of the last century.
Polish community has worked in our hospitals, building sites, cleaning and catering industries doing the jobs that Brits did not want to do.
The polish community has brought us traditions of culture, dance, music, food and beer which enrich this country. We are a poly-glot, multi-racial society and have been for centuries, so where are your ancestors from?

I used to be a liberal in that I agreed with the idea that we are a "multi cultural, diverse, melting pot" of a country and we should welcome immigrants with open arms here.." it's their human rights innit?". I live in South London and have seen first hand the rapid destruction of the British way of life through over immigration. A few thousand Poles over here would be sustainable but 600, 000(and rising daily) is in fact a full on INVASION!! The Poles would be up in arms, they'd go ballistic if 600, 000 of us went and swamped their country!! They are known to be hard workers but by coming her and doing all the jobs us Brits don't want to do for crap money they keep the wages and working conditions down for everybody else! They come and use our hospitals, overflow our schools and other facilities that have been built up and payed for by us and our parents and grandparents in the same way a cuckoo birds steals and takes over another birds nest. The Germans, Dutch and French did the wise thing and said "NO" to mass immigration of the Poles so we are getting the overfill and we haven't got the room!!! Fair play to them in a way if they can find work and make a life here but enough is enough, ther's only so many sardines you can cram into a can. I used to be a liberal but I can feel my blood boiling on this issue and I know for a fact that plenty of people are feeling the same way, many are seriously thinking of voting for and joining extremist political parties because they have no voice and are being ignored.
I think it is also the fault of greedy employers who want to squeeze in more profit by cutting wages and conditions for it's staff and telling them "Like it or lump it! There's a Pole waiting to take your job. Get back to work!". I work with Poles and they are nice guys but they work like nutcases, always licking the bosses behind, working all the overtime they can ( no family commitments you see, all single guys shacked up together to save money) working Sundays, early starts. The Boss loves them!! "Why don't you lot work more like the Poles! You're all lazy", he reminds us. Well to me that is no life.
Goodye England. Last English person to leave please turn out the lights.

This again is the action of our unscrupulous politicians and done specifically to suppress the salaries of the UK citizens by allowing the immigration of cheap labour, you cant blame the Poles, it is the UK politicians B-liar and Brown.
We should bring in some cheaper politicians probably they would do a better job.
