Just relax and try not to freak out. It's an unfortunate fact of life for women. You'll get used to it as you get older and deal with its more often. Just don't do too much activity right now.... if it feels like you're peeing yourself you may have a heavy flow. Or you're just not used to it yet.
In reality you're only losing a very small amount ( about 3 table spoons a day). Have a little chocolate if you get the craving try -some Midol if you have cramps, and a heating pad can help on the lower abdomen or lower back if you're achy.
It will be over in a few days... try to keep a private calendar so you're not caught off guard for next month ( you may not get regular periods for a few months thou..that's normal).
Take care and Congratulations on becoming a young woman! :)

Well i started my period when i was 13 and i felt like that too. I'm 15 now and just started using tampons !! People say they're nasty before they use them, i know because i said that before i used them but they're actully good. You can move around more and don't feel the blood come out. But it's important to change them every 4-8 hours.

Get a tampon. You won't feel the blood leaving your system and will be much more comfortable. Ask your mom or dad if it's okay to use them. I wish I had started use tampons earlier. They would have saved me alot of discomfort. Then take a cup of tea and a couple of tylenol and relax... it will be over in a few days...

that is a feeling you will need to get used to! Put a pad on and just change it often. Yes, you can feel it coming out, but with protection on, you know you're safe and it only lasts a few days! When you get older a tampon will help and you won't feel it coming out. Please talk with a trusted female or adult for anymore help or reassurance! God bless!

Have you tried wearing tampons? You might feel cleaner then. Otherwise, change the pad often and also the amount of bleeding usually lessens over the few days.

Just put on a pad. The novelty will wear off soon.

That's normal, especially if you wear pads. You get used to it after awhile. It's aggravating, I know.
