Ok I will try to answer this without offending anyone. The main reason for these differences is money. I know everyone is supposed to be equal but on average white people make more money than black people and latino people. This affects the sports they play. Basketball only requires a court and a ball that costs like 15 bucks. To play baseball you need a rather large expanse of grass (something lacking in cities) bats that can cost 100+ dollars and a bunch of other equipment. The reason that a lot of hispanics end up playing baseball even though they have even less money than the african americans is the major league teams themselves. Most major league teams have academies in latin american countries where people can play baseball all year round. These academies turn into feeders for professional teams. The same rings true for hockey which is very costly and doesnt have many minorities at all. Racing is a little differnt as racism may play a part in this. To participate in Nascar you needs lots of sponsorships and money. Black people will probably have a much harder time getting these sponsorships. Also why would an african american want to participate in what is considered a southern hick sport. Football is an interesting one. On the whole the sport is pretty even between blacks and whites, with almost no hispanics. But when you look more closely there does seem to be a distinction whites seem to play primarily tight end, quarterback, and line. While blacks seem to play more running back and wide reciever. The reason for this is my second reason for the racial divisions, the past. If you look back most of the great quarterbacks were white, the greatest running backs were black and so on. So little kids growing up may associate with those of the same skin color and become drawn to the positions there idols play. This may also be part of the reason that the racial divisions in sports will mantain even after economic equality is reached. That is my two cents on that topic. It may rub people the wrong way but it is a good question

no racism here, but all the black people have taken all the position except the QB position. Cause you do not see any white people in runningback, widerevicer, defensive tackle ,defensive end, both Saftey positions, Cornerback, or any other i left out left out.

and to answer you question it John Lynch and Brian Urlacker.
