During your next election, will you be able to see really beyond personality and to actions for a new leader?

This could be any election, but presumably a national election for the political leader of your country.

Do you get swayed by the personality of someone? Would you rather have someone who looks nice and talks like a friend over someone who gets the job done, who makes improvements in your country, even if they might be ugly and seem to be someone that could never be your friend?

It's not like you need to be friends with the leader anyway.

People want someone in office who they not only agree with but who they can trust. Leaders are their personalities; how can you get around that? Don't you think that the policies of Germany in the 30's & 40's were a direct result of Hitler's hatred of Jews? Lech Walesa was pivotal in freeing Poland of Russian rule; he did it because he had a strong personality & people saw that he had leadership.

So the question becomes, what personality traits should a person look for in their leaders?

I would rather have a man of integrity regardless of the party he is affiliated with. Because then I can trust him to make decisions in the best interest of the country & its people. Since no one is perfect, he would make mistakes but at least they would be honest ones.

Personality helps. Issues are much more important. We all need to do our country a favor and look into a person's voting record on issues that concern us. You can say anything during a campaign, show me your record!

If the examine validates even a fragment of what we are listening to befell, then definite, he could be impeached for his involvement in the canopy up and in basic terms straightforward incompetence.
