first of all, i am sorry you are hurting. we have all been there and know it's not a fun place to be. but you have to come away from the experience learning something new about life and love. what have you learned? if you have learned something then consider it worthy. next, be good to yourself. treat yourself to something you enjoy doing, take time for yourself. dont be afraid to be alone to think about it, to analyze it, to reflect. then move on... get busy, get involved with other things, people and don't allow yourself to dwell on it. look back on it with a smile.. it was an experience and we need all kinds to truly live this thing we call life. best of luck to you... this too shall pass!!

Really depends on how much you was in love. Took me 9 years to get over my first true love. Really aint mended maybe never really be, I am remarried now but still having a hell of a time. I still love my ex but not the way as I want him back we have two beautiful girls together. That will always be my hold on him. You may not ever really get over it. You will have to put it all aside and go with your life though and it is hard trust me.

It takes a lot of time to mend a broken heart. never rebound though because then you keep the cycle going. take time for yourself, don't live for the past or what could have been. Live only for today.

only time and distance can help, but once broken there will always be wounds, but it does get easier with time. broken hearts are caused by a loss of someone we loved. it is never easy and doesn't happen overnight, it is something we must go through so we can move forward. only your own thoughts can affect what u are now feeling. the greatest pain we can feel is that of rejection of someone we love, and this is not your falt.
