Its simple my friend, if you want to pla games on your latop then buy an AMD Dual Core, but if your going to use your laptop for business and office get an Intel Dual Core. The AMD gives more CPU power to run applications such as games, but is not as fast when doing the normal day to day use. Intel on the other hand is fast at running Windows and opening folders and little programs, but not as fast at games.

The Sony vaio would have higher performance in rendering and stuff but games depend on the graphics card more than not. A geforce go 7600 on the Hp Turion would beat all the others.

The Turion X2 is not quite as power full as the core duo but is not slow in any part of the word.

I would go for core 2 duo over core duo any day despite the lower ram. you can always upgrade that latter anyway.

Price if they are all priced within say $50 dollars of each other go with the Sony. If the Turion is $100-$200 lower That's a deal unless the Toshiba the same price, if so go with the Toshiba.

That's the best I can do with the information given, have fun shopping.

Jimmy C has no idea what he's talking about.

At this time, the best processor made is Intel's Core 2 Duo, that's just plain fact. Anyone telling you any different is just an uninformed "wannabe".

Out of all the processors listed, the fastest would be the Sony with the T5600.

The Sony as it has the fastest processor by far. Make sure that the memory is as fast.

actually, ive read a lot of reviews and they are all saying different things, some say AMD is better while others say Intel. Well, check this site for the comparison of the two processors.

I would buy AMD for games and other accessories, but Intel is good for everyday routine
