Well, if you dont have a running wheel, i suggest u get one, becuz they have tonz of energy. some toys i give my hamster- cotton balls, to sleep in, a cardboard box duplex. take two small cardboard boxes, small enough 2 fit in ur cage and give the mices lots of room, and put one ontop of the other, cut holes and doors and build ramps to the top layer. they will ove it, and they can chew on it and u can replace it easier than a big plastic house from the pet store. I also love to hang things from my hamster's cage, like lettuce on a string, andthey jump to get it. I also love the idea of mirrors and bells. it stimulated ur pets visually and they love tomake noises.
and oddly enough, mice hampsters and guinea pigs love dog biscuts, like the hard ones. if u hid those in a cardboard toilet paper roll, under some tissue paper, its like theyre really foraging but in a different sort of way. hopethis helps.

Here's some ideas:
toilet paper tube (or carpet tubes from a carpet store for larger animals- just ask and they'll give you one), wooden chew toys, a house, cotton balls or dryer lint or toilet paper to stuff into his bed, a bridge, treats hidden around the cage or inside toys, smelly things like a smelly sock, a tower to climb, different sections of cage with a tube or pvc pipe connecting for him to explore, a small box of dirt to dig in, pet grass to chew, a laddar that goes up the side of the cage with a treat on the top, a maze, a soft blanket or towel, a shirt sleeve to climb into, roaming around on the floor, etc. There are many things you can do to keep your mice occupied!

When my rats were still with me, I had a shallow plastic container that I filled with smooth stones. Whenever it was hot out or I thought they could use a "bath", I'd fill the tub with water and tuck treats between the rocks. They loved to wade in and search for treats.
Maybe you could gather some old boxes (They could be really small boxes since you have mice--I always used larger ones for my rats) and build a little "clubhouse" for your mice. Just cut doors and tape the boxes together, and they'll love to explore the new area.

That depends on how ambitious you are. I had this idea but all of my mice died before I could try it. I though that it would be neat to get some screen, chicken wire, or something similar and build a climbing wall for them. You would have to make sure that there were no sharp edges and find a way to anchor it to the wall but mice love to climb and I think they would have a ball.

I make toys for my rats. You can also do fun things like take a yoggie or some other treat and wrap in in newspaper balls, so they have to search and tear the paper for it.

I don't think mice are as playful as rats though.

I do not have mice but I do have a pet rat,,, who loves the lint from the dryer she makes her bed. I also take Cheerios and put them in between the bars in her cage she loves it. I have also taken empty hot chocolate cans and she uses them to play on and around.

toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, and small cardboard boxes (such as macaroni boxes) are all fun toys for small rodents. connecting them to make mazes are even more fun for the little guys. start saving waste cardboard (tubes, boxes, and scraps) and let your imagination run wild.

stuff empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls with a few peices of toilet paper, and let them pull it out and shred it. pet stores also carry crinkle paper and fuzzy stuff to put in there.
that seems to be a favorite of all rodents

More than any toy I ever got my rats, they adore and go crazy for toilet paper rolls.

i gave mine the tube from the toilet roll they do nibble it but they dont eat it mine just made bedding from it. you could try jars (old hot chocolate jar) just for them to climb in hide some food in it so they have to scavinge. simple things like moving there food bowl is fun to as they have to hunt to find it, it keeps them occupied.
