During my period I get really bad stomach cramps. They don't last all day, but they come and go throughout the day. Painkillers don't seem to affect it though they work on the uterine cramping. I don't get them at any other time. Does this happen to anyone else? I don't think it's serious since I've had this problem for about three years now.

Cramps that severe can be a sign of endometriosis. You may want to chat with your doctor. You might also want to consider going on birth control pills if you aren't already. Pills make your body think it's pregnant, so the uterine lining that sheds during your period is light or non-existant, meaning much less cramping. Good luck!

I get the same problem. and it ends up being the fact that I have to go to the bathroom! (#2) So eat more fiber for breakfast in the morning, and see if this relieves the problem. I find that everything changes and is affected by our monthly cycle, including our intestines.
