We moved from California and have a family trust to avoid probate. Need to know how to make necessary changes.

Trust and estate is WILDLY different from state to state.
There are millions of exceptions and caveats -- talk to a lawyer who PRACTICES Missouri trust and estate law -- or you risk your will or trust being not recognized or contested for YEARS.
