There are all kinds of comedies--what kind do you like? Here are some of my favorites:

Best in Show (about strange people competing in a dog show)
Defending Your Life (people in the after life, with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep)
What's Up Doc? (slapstick, car chases in San Francisco, silly intrigue)
Trading Places (Eddie Murphy at the top of his game)
The Princess Bride (swashbuckling and silly)
Young Frankenstein (Mel Brooks at his best)
The Incredibles (animated--if you haven't seen this, I highly recommend it!)
A Fish Called Wanda (Kevin Kline is awesome in this)
Either of the Pirates of the Carribean movies

Hopefully something here will tickle your funny-bone....enjoy!
