This person has a painful hip joint but can function pretty "normally", but if they walk/stand/or sit for too long at one time, they can be in a lot of pain. An ideal career would have a good balance of physical activity but not be physically demanding at all. Something that is intellectually challenging. This person is smart. This person is deciding what to major in in college for a future career that meets their intellectual needs and physical limitations. Thanks.

NO WORK AT HOME sites, please. I am asking about CAREERS, real occupations, not temporary make-money scams.

Perhaps this person would consider a home business in the health and wellness industry that could address their hip and joint problems.
It's very inexpensive to start up and comes with all the training and mentoring needed to show an income right away.

It sounds like they need to work on a business management degree so that they can be self employed.

This would give them tons of flexibility. Also any job where walking around is not disapproved of-maybe in a hotel as the manager of guest relations or a department store.

Hope this helps and that there are other ideas to help you too
