Seek help for depression. We all make mistakes, but when you have such a negative view, then all that you can see are the negative things. This does or can lead to a serious downward spiral. The hole can be too deep for you to climb out of on your own. It's best to look for help - it may not be easy to ask, but it may be the only way out. If you can't find help with a friend, then seek a professional.

Imagine you're a rock climber. You're stuck on a cliff and have lost your rope, as well. The only way to fix the situation is to find someone with a rope and the skill to get it to you and pull you up (or ease you safely to the ground below).

Rock climbers are not supposed to climb alone. For the same reason, people should not try to face every problem alone. A fellow rock climber will always be ready to help - and the right friend(s) or other professional is also always ready and very willing to help.

The only person who has to worry about not finding help will be the last person on earth. There are thousands of people who can help you escape from thinking that every thing you do is wrong. Sometimes a different view is all you need, to see a better way.

Somewhere along the line you have done good things for others. It might be as simple as finding the Christmas present someone really wanted instead of giving them what you could easily afford and get.

Maybe you stood up for someone at school. Maybe you took the blame for someone else's mistake. Maybe you worked overtime so someone else could do something they considered important.

You have done things for others and you need to think about those. Make a list of the mistakes you've made. Then look back through your memory and dig out the good things you've forgotten. Remember that sometimes just being there for someone when they needed you counts BIG TIME.

You also need to watch the movie "What a Wonderful Life" and pay attention. You can't easily be dismissed by others. Yeah, you make a mistake occasionally, but so do we all. I shudder over a few of mine. The difference is I know people will miss me when I'm gone. People will miss you, too, but you need to convince yourself that's true.

"You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and stars. You have a right to be here and, whether or not you think so, the universe is unfolding as it should. Be at peace with yourself."

i assure you, it wasn't. you are where you are because it was the necessary path (in other words-the path you chose) for you to get to this moment. this is how we grow and evolve. noone is born perfect, free from challenges and obstacles. it's all how you see it. attitude is very important.

however, the mind can be a negative trap, and once you go down a negative path, a mind trip, it can spiral on and on downward.

you have the power to change the direction. first of all, don't beat yourself up anymore. if things you have done in the past are not pleasing thoughts, recognize that- it is THE PAST and it doesn't define who you are RIGHT NOW. then decide who you want to be right now, from this moment on. you are a powerful creative being. once you realize you have the power to choose a better life, and you work on freeing yourself from the negative patterns of the mind, you are unstoppable, empowered.

let the past go, and begin to make better choices. the past only effects you if you let it. we are meant to feel our emotions only for a little while, to feel our feelings fully, then to let them go. often we get stuck in them.

thinking positive thoughts and focusing on what makes you feel positive and happy is the way out. whatever you put your attention on, will expand.

peace

the way i see it, no one is perfect - we all have our flaws but the thing about life and living is that you cant let the past get you down - the past is like driving in a car - you are looking at the road and the distance ahead of you and yet looking behind to see whats coming - thats stupid! eventually you will crash - live one day at a time, encourage yourslef and know that you are not super man or woman but just an ordinary person doing the best you can.

you are not alone. someone out there is worst off than you.
do you got a home?
do you got a job?
do you get a least one meal per day?
do you have the freedom to move about as you please?
do you access to good health?
if you answer yes to anyone of these questions then you got no problem.
Then you can fix anything that you have erred. just be true to yourself, be honest with other people, and look ahead for the good times.

Were you doing the best that you could?
Then you did fine.
We aren't supposed to win every time, or even most of the time. But if you are giving it the best you have then there is nothing any better than that. Nothing.

By changing your life, and start doing good things. Then you can think to yourself that the person you were no longer exists, and you can start fresh.

I know how you feel - I also sometimes feel my life is just one continuous mistake. Well, what if it is? Maybe one day I will learn from mistakes and so will you.

Take care and all the best.
