Under (Tools) > Internet Options > Content > Content Advisor >(Settings). The Supervisor password is required before you can continue: My "Hint" is (aunts). Ok, I think I remember typing "aunts" instead of "ants" to purposefully be decieving to anyone trying to guess my password. Just in case though, I typed in the names of every aunt, living or dead on both sides of the family, and none were the correct password. That's why I think it is supposed to mean "ants" For the life of me, I can not remember what it is about "ants" that I thought would be easy for me to remember my password. I didn't even write it down anywhere because I thought it would be easy for me to remember. There is NO way to retrieve that password. I looked it up and Microsoft says they will not help anyone with that password. So, I need all the suggestions that you can throw at me, that has anything to do with "ants". Here are the ones that I've already tried: poison-hill-mound-trail-red-black-raid-black flag-insects.

Reset Content Advisor Password
Content Advisor

If you've ever used content advisor you will be aware it's there for parents and admins to aim and control what websites the user can access. It is however not very good, and one problem is that if you forget your password, its not recoverable! This page shows you how to reset that password.
Manual or Program

We also have a small program that will do the job for you!
You run it, and it does all the below work without any need for you to do anything.
If you want to try that first, get the program here!
If it doesn't work, follow the instructions below.
Registry

We will be editing the registry for this. Editing the registry is only dangerous if you go in there and start deleting or editing things not on this list. If you are doing to leave other things alone there is absolutely no danger to you. There is a basic registry editing guide here.
Removing the password

1 Go to start, run, type "regedit" and press "OK".
2 Expand the folders down the left, in this order.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
>Software
>Microsoft
>Windows
>CurrentVersion
>Policies
>Ratings
3 On the right you will see the word "Key" - Click it once, then press "del" or right click, and select delete.
4 Close the registry editor.
5 Go to start, run, type "explorer" and press "OK".
6 Navigate to C:\Windows\System and delete "ratings.pol"
That's done!

Now it's done, restart Internet Explorer, and it will work as expected!
If someone is changing the password as a joke, set a password, but don't enable the advisor!
