Even if you have lost the receipt you can still get gift vouchers for the dress. If the price has gone down then you will only get that price. If you have the receipt get that dress back!!

If you have a receipt you are legally entitled to exchange the dress up to 28 days after you bought it. Yes there's a point - 85 of them!

Of course there is unless you can afford to waste £85. Most shops like you to return items within 28 days.

they are not obliged to give you a refund, but with the receipt being usually within 14/28 days you should be able to get a refund or exchange - unless there is a hygiene issue like earings.
you could always read the back of the receipt?

If the shop had fitting rooms, and you did not try it on at the shop to see if it fitted;legally they do not have to exchange it. But usually providing the item is un-worn and in the same condition as when you bought it, most retailers will exchange it if you have the receipt or proof that you purchased it.

Well yes if you have the reciept, unless you think you could sell it on ebay for more (some chance). Eighty five Quid is erighty five quid agt the end of the day. More than a day's wages for some people.

As long as you've got your receipt, there shouldn't be a problem with getting a refund back, if the store honors their customers, they'll do it.
