I have a few....
When I was 8 Santa & Mrs. Claus stayed up late drinking on Christmas eve, and wrapped presents, putting my name on my sisters most wanted Chrismas item (a Crayola Caddy)
Another year I got 10 $20 bills in my stocking (to hit the Christmas sales afterwards)
Another year, I bought my sister a really cool, anniversarry special issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. It was pretty thick. I ended up blabbing to her about what it was cuz I was so excited. She was anxious to receive it. But then I ended up keeping it for myself because I liked it so much. She was mad!
ummm lets see, I remember making gingerbread houses with my father and sister.
I remember making hard candy with my mother.
And I remember telling my Uncle that if he didn't buy me a Scritti Politti tape, (1986) I wouldn't love him anymore. He bought it for me.
What are some of your Christmas memories, good or bad?

On Christmas eve my hole family and all our neighbors would go to the pub!!
I would play games with the other kids which sometimes (well all the time) would involve pranking!!
When it got late we would all go home together and have hot chocolate in front of a boiling fire!!
When everyone went home we would go up to bed and try and fall asleep which was hard cos we were so excited about Santa!!
On Christmas morning we would wake up really early and run downstairs to see what Santa had brought!!
We were only allowed to open Santa's presents!!
We would spend the rest of the morning trying to wake our parents so we could open the rest of our present!!
When everyone was up we would shred the paper off all our present!!
We went to my nans house for Christmas dinner and opened the presents she had got for us!!
We all would sing songs and play board games!!
On boxing day we went to the pub and played a lot of pool!!
It was the fuzzily feeling that mad me feel happy that's what I like about Christmas!!

My best memory, which is sad at the same time. My mother and father had just gotten divorced. And my mom was very ill. She couldnt afford any presents. We ended up getting them from a church. I remember getting Ice Skates, a poster to color, an easy bake oven, and a barbie. I dont really remember what my brother got. But I remember my mom crying cause she was so happy we were. Now my family adopts families with no money and buys gifts. Its really a great expierence

When I was a kid, every christmas we would run to the tree for our gifts. Sometimes there were gifts and sometimes there were not.
My father would sit there staring at us and if we did not thank him profusely and pretend to like the item we recieved, he would tear it up or smash it and scream at us for being ungrateful and how he hated kids and never wanted any. It was my mother fault for getting pregnant. He would hit us with his belt.
Then, he would get really drunk by 10 in the morning. He would sit there and bark out orders at all of us and than usually beat my mother with his fists while we hid under the bed waiting for him to pass out so we could help mama clean up all the broken stuff off the floor and get rid of the christmas tree before he woke up and go into another rage over how we ruined his christmas.
To this day, christmas makes me almost suicidal.

My family lived in the projects for a period of time. My dad had hurt his back and was unemployed for almost two years. One Christmas we couldn't' even afford any tree.
Me and my brother were walking past a lot that sold Christmas trees about two days from Christmas. Someone yelled out, hey guys, you want a tree? It was the owner. How did he know? He gave a us a great tree which we dragged home. My mother and father were wide eyed and it turned out to be one of the best Christmas Days I can remember.

When i decorated the Christmas tree. I was reading a book for a minute to get the stress out. All of the sudden, the dog grabbed one of the soft ornaments and started pulling down the Christmas tree! We have now learned to watch where you put ornaments as well as the dog!

some years after mom died and that i replaced into engaged on the farm and around the domicile for all time, Dad asked me what i wanted for Hanukkah, and being the sensible mouth i replaced into around 13 I pronounced i wanted genuine property, and if he could no longer try this to no longer situation doing something. That 3 hundred and sixty 5 days I have been given the main important bag of potting soil i've got ever considered in my existence. He laughed approximately that each time the family have been given mutually till he gave up the ghost some years in the past. i think of that replaced into the catalyst to me stepping into the plant nursery business organisation, and my maximum enjoyed memory of father.
