It was all to show the people who is the real power centre. Actually government cheated the people by only reducing Rs 2 per litre, where as it increased Rs 6 till June, this year. Actually in the international market there was dip of prices upto 30 per cent. In that way government should bring down the prices upto 30 per cent.
If Manmohan Singh government really reduced oil prices on the advice of Sonia Gandhi, why no concerted efforts were made on her advice to check abnormal increase of essential commodities prices and also giving fertile lands to the corporate houses in the name of special economic zones ?
