Small school and class size
Certified teachers
Urban environment
Opportunities to study abroad
Internship opportunities
Clubs and organizations

The school I'm going to has 880 undergrad students, 90% of the teachers have a terminal degree in their field, no classes are taught by grad students. They cap off every class at 25 students, 97% of students study or travel abroad during summer with the college (it's included in tuition), students need an internship to graduate, and I already found 5 clubs there I plan to be a part of.

If cost is a factor, please don't let it get in the way of your going or not. Most private colleges, though more expensive, have much more money in scholarships and financial aid they can give. I'm applying for a full scholarship at mine and have pretty good odds of getting it.

first was where I applied and where I thought I wanted to be. second was price. third was location. I hated the school I ended up going to and now I am going to community college preparing to eventually become a paramedic. I guess I am thinking outside the box a little more than my friends.

degrees offered, price, living costs (rent in the city or dorm costs, etc), distance to the school, size of the school (I hate big schools), class sizes (smaller classes mean better learning..more teacher student interaction), does financial aid cover cost ******, issues like crime statistics, etc.
