Money transfer thru Western Union is more fast and more secure. Because you are in Germany maybe the original english Wester Union has been change so why dont you go to the nearest banks there and ask for Western Union. It's more realible and more secure service to send money to your family at Philippines. They are accepting any forms of money and when they recieve it at Philippines they can recieve it in peso.

Do you have "Western Union"? They are simple to use, and they can convert marks to peso's. Some places, the service can be the next day, or within an hour. Using Banks can be very expensive.
