-What qualities and characteristics etc. MUST a girl/guy have in order for them to be 'THE ONE' for you? (Are you looking for someone who shares the same religious beliefs, a certain physical appearance, etc.?)

-Would you be willing to compromise on a few of these, or do you feel you ABSOLUTELY must have these?

-Do you feel you'll forever be single if you don't find someone like this?

(FYI, I'm sure everyone is 'picky' to a certain extent, but some more than others...)

i'd like a nice guy with a good sense of humor. Somone who is willing to wait for me as i sometimes have trust issues. If someone was a different religion that wouldnt bother me as long as i wasnt expected to change my beliefs. I feel even though im picky you must always comprimise in whatever you do in life, as life is not perfect. I dont feel that ill always be single as theres always someone out the you just have to look harder and be willing to comprimise

Ok I'll admit I'm picky, but I am determined to find a guy that fits these qualities. Divorce is huge these days, and I don't want that to happen to me (and I don't want my kids to have to go through that!). But I think mine are fairly reasonable, so I don't feel like I should have to compromise, or that it's not possible to find a guy with these qualities:

-Easy to talk to. How many years are we going to spend together? We need to be able to talk.
-Sense of Humor
-Religious (yes I'm looking/hoping for someone in my religion)
-good with kids
-attractive (I at least need to find him attractive. It doesn't matter what other people think of his looks though.)
-Patient
-I don't care if he's rich, but I would prefer to know that he will be able to support me and my family (with my help- I do plan on being a working mother at least part of the time)

I think that covers it. (Sorry this was really long!) Have a nice day!

As far as good guys here go I finally figured out what makes one. He has to have a solid resume, good to his mother. And believes in some sort of higher power. a true hero
