There probably are people who can help you with the "little details, discriptions, and what-not" but in truth you can probably save yourself money by doing it yourself. If you came up with this great idea, there's a good chance you'll be able to come up with another one. It may take some time, but be patient. Mine took a year. (Hold it, I'm not saying your's will so HANG IN THERE!)

To be frank, don't start writing yet. I mean it. It's a really bad idea to trust that you'll "think of the ending later" or "find it out as you go along". See look. I'm frowning here. *grimaces* The best way to start out you novel is to have an outline.

*Gasp* Yeah, it's the truth. Having an outline will save you alot of trouble. I wouldn't say go to some store and pick up the cheapest black-and-white sheet of "OUTLINES FOR THE LAZY" ...in truth those are like outlines for outlines... just go to some writing computer program at home or grab a notebook and jot down ideas. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER delete anything you've outlined after a day you have written it. If you get rid of it, you might want it later or find some place to use it. If you find a new idea starting, just skip a few lines and write it.

Okay. Let's jump forward and say you've already finished your outline. WHOOT. Celebrate with a pizza or something. Treat yourrself for the day. But you're not done yet. Oh no. A writer's job is never complete (especailly if you haven't written anything yet :] hehe) Take some time to write down everything in detail. Nice and easy. Don't rush it to get to the end. You've got a lifetime to complete it!

Help with the writing: "Ehhh I've made TONS of beginnings but then it ends up being sooo boring." Maybe you have writer's block. Check out a few good books at the library and read about it. There's a cure for everyone! Plus its normal. You aren't alone. Post a question on how many people have gotten writer's block and WOW you'd be surprised.

Everyone had their way of writing and planning. Me: everything I've told you PLUS I tend to start in the middle where the action is, work to the end and THEN start at the beginning. haha its weird. Beginnings are difficult though unless you know EXACTLY where you're working to.

And when you're done with all of this, post a question on how to get published! (If I tell you all of that it would take up so much space you'd need popcorn)...Maybe I'll be the one to help you then too....who knows!!??!! (Just make sure you don't tell everyone your ideas. Keep it nice and safe with you or they could be stolen.)

And good luck! NEVER stop writing! It's tough but worth-the-while work! :P

It's a writer's job to learn how to write all of the little details. Take classes. Start writing and get critiques. Writing is like any job; it takes a lot of practice and learning of theory.

Unless you like the whole process of sitting at your computer (or with pen/paper) and working alone and studying the process of writing (plot, conflict, characterization, climax, denouement, etc.), and then editing at least 2 or 3 times to pare it down to get rid of anything extra and filling in what you missed and fixing grammar and spelling issues, then studying markets and the production methods and how to market ...

Ideas are a dime a dozen. What matters is how you write it. It takes years to become a good writer, and you have to have a talent for knowing how to use words for the best impact.

Of course, writing just because it's something you want to do for yourself is fine, too. It can actually be quite good therapy. :-)

It sounds like you're asking about ghostwriters. A lot of celebrity books are written by ghostwriters, the "real" writers who write celebrities' books because they don't know how to write them. Ghostwriters also write books for other people, usually experts in a field who need help putting their knowledge into book form.

Ghostwriters cost money, though. It might be simpler to study how-to writing books and try it yourself (and a lot more fun, too). Librarians can help you find those books. All the little details, descriptions, etc., are the fun part of writing a book. Don't let someone else have all your fun!

You should write a basic outline of the story without too many details. Its easier to go back later and just add them in. You should also write a list of all the main characters and their descriptions to help you while you're writing.
