It depends on the agreement you have with them as an ISP, many high speed contracts do offer you free Internet protection but they make it hard to get it should you lose the CD.

no yahoo dont protect ur computer it only protects ur emails but sometimes it dont work either so u need to protect ur system from anti viruses and hackers and spywares and adwares

it supposingly protects your emails with norton antivirus but i don't think it protects your computer or acts as an antivirus when you open it's webpage.
