um...hmmm you've got me thinking now! I'd have to say that getting lottery tickets is a waste. I think that because people spend so much on tickets, the winning you may get are probably not good enough to compensate for the money you spent on tickets! Unless you win 10000000000 dollars or something...which is almost never.
