its a close one but i say the spurs

Spurs win this one.
It's really interesting that you mentioned these teams. Suns are a fast-paced team and is dubbed as the most exciting team in the league because they execute so well in offense. Spurs are always waiting for Tim Duncan to come, therefore are slow, but incredible on defense, and they are dubbed as extremely boring to watch.
For one, their leaders. Both Nash and Duncan have 2 regular season MVPs, but Duncan wins this because he's got 3 titles. Nash hasn't even got to the NBA Finals yet.
Their supporting players are incredible, but Suns win. Amare Stoudemire and Shawn Marion could be a deadly combination, yet Manu and Parker could still be deadlier. The problem is, Spurs' bench are old, and I like what i see from Diaw, Bell, Barbosa, and Kurt Thomas this year as opposed to Barry, Finley, Bowen and Horry in the Spurs.
But you gotta look back to the 2005 Western Finals. Amare was healthy and a monster, and Suns got the best record of the league back then, but were held to only 5 games by Duncan and the Spurs. So this should be enough reason why Spurs win.
And Spurs won the last meeting between both. Suns need to play better defense, and Spurs need to execute better offense. But as they said, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS, OFFENSE SELLS TICKETS.

San Antonio Spurs is my favorite NBA team-so I will say that they are the best!--Not just because they are my favorite, but because they have the oldest and most experienced players in the NBA at this time!
