I can prove you mind reading is possible! Wanna Try?
Ok I found this website, if you've seen the tv show Ghost Whisperer, its in the official website, follow this link to it, think of a two digit number then add the 2 digits and subtract the result from the 2 digit number you chose, try it,

If you choose any two-digit number "to" where t is the tens and o is the ones, then the number can be written as:

10t + o

For example, 54 = 10(5) + 4.

The sum of the digits would be just t + o. 5 + 4 = 9.

Now, subtracting the sum of the digits from the original number is the same as:

10t + o - (t + o) = 10t + o - t - o = 9t

10(5) + 4 - (5 + 4) = 50 + 4 - 5 - 4 = 45 = 9(5)

So the "trick" is just that you always get a multiple of 9: 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, or 81. (You can't ever get 90, because that would mean that you chose a 3-digit number.)

If you look at the symbols, all the multiples of 9 are the same symbol...and the symbol that appears in the crystal ball.
