I find that when I have dreams, and I remember them, sometimes during the day, or sometime later in life, they manifest into reality! It's wild. Anyway...what do you think? Is there any evidence or widely held belief that our dreams are more than just our imagination? I am hoping so...because last night I passed out, a little drunk, and had a wonderful dream where I was making out with this girl I once dated. SO cool.

I have had dreams that predicted future events. One even gave me advice about how to avoid a lot of unhappiness and I didn't follow the advice. Bad idea.

The only evidence I have is personal experience, and I'm not sure that would hold up anywhere. But yes, I believe dreams can predict your future. On the other hand, sometimes, it's just a dream.

My mother, and two other relatives dreamed that my grampa had a heart attack on the same night. When they mentioned their dreams to each other, they were almost the same - my grampa went to the doctor..... I can't remember what happened after that but I do believe some show the future, and some are there to help your brain cope with changes and things

Dreams are your unconsciousness, what you would be thinking if you were awake, except since you are unconscious while you are at rest you cannot control them, like you cannot control your heartbeat or breathing. Sigmund Freud had a pretty nice theory on dreams..... here is a link you may want to check out.....

Sometimes, not always. If you have the spark, cultivate it ! You can through mind exercises, experience much more and learn much. You will have a better probability of seeing the future.
