umm i would have 2 say don't tell him/her u liked the that person for a long time then that would make, the person, feel weird about them selfs and say on no i did dumb things or such so just say i like u

Take a risk! You never know if he has the same feelings you do. Besides if he is that good of a friend to you and you tell him what you are feeling there is no way that he would get mad. My advice to you is that you tell him exactly what you are feeling atleast then you would know if he feels the same way aswell.

So, go for it. But also look for hints to see if he feels the same in return like flirting or shyness. It really shouldnt matter how long you've known each other. In the long run, its better you know him more.

i have almost the same problem!! but i realised that when my best friend express his real feelings about me!! you have 2 choices!
1) is to tell him what you feel but if he doesn't have feelings for you your friendship will break!
2) you don't tell him anything you stay just good friends and maybe he tells you if he feels something more!!

You should tell him. I was in the same place as you. I was skared to tell him b/c I was afrad that he wouldent want to be friends any more. But, what I found out is that, He felt the same way. Go for it tell him!
