(I am 13) I lhad liked this guy for about 4 months. It was the summer, and we were on the track team together, and for the first few weeks he ignored me like he usually did when we were in school, but then when track was almost over, he started flirting with me... a lot. After track ended, I was getting really worked up, because I was positive that he liked me back and I thought I had blew it by not telling him that I liked him, so I called him and told him. He said he didn't like me back. Though I was confused, I accepted it. But now that we're back in school, he won't talk to me, and when I try to talk to him, he usually just tries to end the conversation as fast as possible. I don't like him anymore and I really just want to be friends with him, but he keeps pushing me away. What gives?

He got scared when you said you liked him and is now worried you are going to expect more from him.
Just leave him alone for a while - the more you try and be friends with him the more he is going to think you want to be his girlfriend and the more he'll run.
Make him think you're not interested and he'll possibly spend all his time pursuing you! Men are like that - they don't know what they want!!! :-)

try and go up to him and say and ask them if we can talk alone and also say it is very important. Then say this i am sorry freaked you out after track was over. But i really did like you, but now i don't. Do you think we could just be friends, and once again i am sorry i freaked you out .You can also give him a note with what i just i said if you are just a little bit shy. That is what i would do personally.

C'mon, be real. Obviously he was just making use of you to flirt. He had his chance and trapped you in. When u confessed the fun was gone. He is such a loser and u need to seriously note that part down. Dont let urself to beg for others. You tried to start a good frienship and he is acting kiddish.
Try to make friends with others who can really be good friends. You should be able to show him that you can have better friends and completely ignore him and see how he feels then to be ignored. Probably it would not make any diffrence in him.
But the thing is you need to forget him and move on. Dont push hard. Be happy with other friends and stop noticing him.

You may not be right for all, but will be right for the right one. You're 13 and a developing young woman...a bit of advice...honor and value yourself. Fine to let a guy know your interests, yet don't ever chase after a guy or go after a guy who has clearly expressed (in whatever form) that the interest is not returned. He doesn't want you in his space...respect that and leave him be...otherwise you're being an emotional bully and just not aware of it. Keep growing and learning...that's (in part) what experience is for..

im 13 too and like the same thing happened to me too. start on any subject. like for example music, food, colors, sports. or anything like that and soon enough u will have conversation. Once he like wants to start to leave u ask him a few questions. that will make that conversation last longer then like tell him u have to go after 2 or 3 questions.

Sometimes guys just flirt for the fun of it. Maybe he has a girlfriend already that you don't know about. Maybe he doesn't want to get in trouble with her so he tries to stop your attempts. I sorry to say, there is a very good chance that he will never be "just friends" with you after all this.

ok look ....answer yourself some questions ...does any one know about this thing "i mean did you tell any one about it and he told me too about you ?"?...does he has a GF?....was it a short time you took to tell him that " i mean was that telling him that you like him was too fast"?...if the answers of this questions were normal ....then ..i love in this situations to face the problem ...go to him directly and tell him that you were like him ..but now you need him as a freind nothing more ...clearing and facing makes peaple confused and aren't able to answer ..may be after this he will talk to you clearly and told you why he don't wanna speak to you ... i hope that i wasn't wrong in understanding the problem

i know the problem! he is shy of u telinghim that u liked him and now he doesn't want 2 talk 2 u cause he thinks its kinda weird so u should never tell a guy u like them untill they tell u they like u

he's a jerk. don't even bother with people that are going to treat you like that. if he doesnt talk to you, then thats his loss.

He isn't worth being friends with if he ignores you. Don't try and talk to him, he isn't worth your time.
