What can we do to help girls and women be less ashamed of their bodies?

In the gym showers some girls hide away, afraid to be seen. There are ridiculous expectations of beauty that no one can live up to. Girls are taught to be ashamed of their bodies. What can we do to change that? I try to lead by example. I know I have one boob much larger than the other but I don't hide it. What else can we do?

Women should not give in to the temptation of the world around them. We as women should compliment ourselves, stop hiding in too big clothes or cutting the lights off while having sex, buy something sexy for yourself,and never put yourself into a category. Start getting dressed and undressed in front of the mirror. Compliment yourself every chance you get. No one will love you if you dont love yourself. Instead of women being jealous of each other we should start complimenting each other. The unity and love of women should start with in.

Rather than say women are ashamed of the bodies. It is more that, women are more modest about themselves.

There is nothing wrong with being modest.

Now, cordova does seem to have a tough problem.

There is a God given sense instill in everybody, called Modesty. It can be over ridden or ignored.

You remember when Adam and Eve sinned, they hid because they saw they were naked.

God asked them, who told you, you were naked? They said, when we ate from that tree we saw.

Then it said, God made them clothes and He clothed them.

There is the beginning of modesty. It is God given and It can be over ridden. There is also a feeling of guilt when modesty is over ridden or ignored and when the guilt is gone the modesty goes to.

When Adam and Eve were living right in the garden they were not ashamed of anything.

Women do not take it to heart when we tell them they are beautiful , desirable and sexy .(and want to bend them over , or wrap there ankles on our shoulders )

Just think women when your thinking that you are the least sexy time in a month , there are signifgant amounts of guys out there who's nearly unbrideld and nearly unchecked pure lust for you will want to tap into you right then and there . That has got to be saying something .

Also each man has his own kryptonite .If i had choice between a bit overwieght women who had sexy legs and pretty feet and new how to use them vs a skinny woman who had ugly feet or was antifoot which do you think i would choose ?

I know what you mean. It's the same for men. Go on one of the online dating sites and you have bimbos using catchy phrases like "those that have receeding hairlines and aren't buff and RIPPED need not apply." Hardly ever are any brainpower requirements included. All that's important are looks and income.

Gotta have the perfect minoxidiled, capped tooth bowflex body paired with the shaved barbie-doll bleached blond over-aerobicized pizza-puking bimbo, brought to you by the worst of the capitalistic whores, whose mission in life is to make you miserable about your appearance and separate you from most of your income to finance a usually in-vain pursuit of their current and arbitrary physical ideal.

What you can do, and advise anyone who seeks your advice to do, is BOW OUT OF IT. The hell with it, and anybody stupid enough to get sucked in and manipulated by it.

I'd rather be ugly than stupid, and anybody that lets the media control their sense of self worth is PRETTY GODDAM DUMB.

And don't worry about your mismatched boobs. My nose has been broken twice. So have all the bones in my hands. I have big nasty scars left by everything from broken whisky bottles to scalpels (so I guess I at least qualify as RIPPED....har). Women that can't handle it can stuff it. Damned if I'm spending a fortune on plastic surgery just to satisfy some shallow, media-manipulated moron that I hope I never have the misfortune to meet.

Tell the self-conscious girls, if you get a chance, that they don't need those kind of lardheads, either. And we as citizens of the good old US of A, don't need to go on behaving like steers being hustled into a feedlot, and letting the idiot box tell us what we want in people, in our kitchen, in our lives, and in our heads.

Gotta start somewhere. Get as many people as you can to think for themselves. AND TO SHUT OFF THE GODDAM TV.

Good question don't you women know that we men practically worship your bodies. We don't care if your big, small, short, or tall. We love your bods despite shape, color, blemishes or deformities. We no nobody is perfect and that the chicks you see on mainstream media are so made up and put together that they don't even look close to that in their personal lives. Girls wake up and smell the coffee your expectations for beauty is in your heads. For every shallow dude comparing and claiming you don't measure up to the hollywood image of a woman there are 20 guys who can't get thier minds off how good you looked in that skirt you wore the other day.

i'd say throw away all magazine publications. no more modelling agencies. look in the mirror every day and repeat to yourself, "i am beautiful!" understand that for a lot of men, confidence is a much more attractive, than skinny, or a well endowed chest. it will be impossible for women to feel confident about themselves, when everywhere you look, media, in some form or another, is geared towards making them feel bad about themselves, so they will waste there money on make up, and diet pills, and surgery, or name brand, high dollar merchendise. when a woman walks into my store, in pj pants, and fuzzy shoes, and an old t-shirt, it is not her body, or her looks, that make people look twice. it is the fact that she has the confidence to not care what people think. but, that is just my opinion. i'm sure someone dissagrees.

I don't strip right down because I don't like the idea of complete strangers seeing me naked. It's kinda creepy. I find a discreet corner and face the wall. I think its more polite than walking around and letting it all hang out.

You want to hear one of the reasons my ex disliked me? She came to me serious as hell and asked me why I did not tell her she was fat. She had two of my kids and I always thought she was beautiful. She blamed me for giving her a "false sense of confidence". She said I never told her the truth. I guess she wanted me to call her a fat slob like some other men may call their women. I never thought she was fat, she was perfect. So I don't know about you women sometimes. My girl forced herself to think she had issues with her body. It is like she wanted to be insecure and miserable. Go figure.

sure you would possibly want to be pleased with that. even as i became in college i became the first to get my era and my breasts were larger than different females my age and that i became made exciting for that reason. I laughed that each and every one off and interior a week the girls both being impressive to me or no longer chatting with me. thanks to bypass!!!
