depends what you want out of a gaming console. Wii allows a lot of mobility during game play so you can play on your feet, and move around. PS3 offers more variety with its built-in DVD player, enhanced graphics and more memory to store games. you can also surf the net through through the PS3. PS3 will have a wider range of game titles available and therefore cheaper in price. i think Wii is limited and you should only purchase the console if you are into standing up and being very active during gameplay.

It depends on what u're looking for.
If u want performance, the PS3 is a great deal for u. The graphic is outstanding, not even Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii can match it. But when u look at the price, pheww!
If u need somthing new, something fresh, that other console didn't offer, I would recommend Nintendo Wii to u. What's special with the Wii is its joystick. It is not the same joystick u ever knew, it is more like a TV remote control. The remote control have sensor that can detect movement. For example, if u want to play Tiger Wood Grand Master, or tennis game or bowling, instead of pushing ur buttons, u can now swing the remote control just like u're playing golf or tennis or bowling. But for the graphic, it's such similar to old Xbox or slightly better than PS2. It also cheaper than PS3

I have a preference for Nintendo so I would say the Wii. It's more targeted towards younger audiences than the PS3 and XBox360 and a heck of a lot cheaper. It's graphics may not be as good as them but I don't think it always matters, especially when the games are great in the first place.

I read in a magazine that the Wii is better. And i do think the Wii is better. Playstation 3 has the exact same controller as Playstation 2. Besides Wii is cheaper.

Apples and oranges. Are you a hardcore gamer who plays all the time, likes adult games more, and wants the latest, greatest technology? Go with the PS3 Or do the graphics not matter as much to you as unique gameplay, the ability to have people over who don't play video games much want to play with you, want a unique new way of controlling games and don't feel too silly wielding a virtual sword, and to play games that are less centered for the frat boy crowd, like zelda? Go with the Wii. The wii is a lot cheaper as well.

Go for Wii if you want cheap system and fun time playing, go for PS3 if you want great graphics. Personally, with the price of PS3, I'd go for Wii for now, especially being able to play all past Nintendo games.

Wii:
- Cheaper
- Lots of fun, you are in the game when you play with it
- Smaller
- Can play a lot of cool games the PS 3 can play
PS 3:
- Too expensive
- The controllers are identical to the controllers of the PS 2
- Too big, a waste of space and plastic
