I am six weeks pregnant as of yesterday. I noticed that before I got pregnant I was experiencing cramps like a period and I still get them. My insurance doesnt kick in for another few weeks so I cant go the the obgyn. I decided to go to the e.r. 3 days ago and they said that my cervix was closed and that there was no blood. The next day I had extreem lower back pain but not a lot of cramping. I found it hard to sleep. Last night I noticed that I was spotting pinkish reddish blood. It later turned brown. This morning I noticed that It was still brown and a little chunky/mucusy but it doesnt even reach my underwear. Its soo light that I only see it when I wipe. What could this be?? This is my first pregnancy and I am scared. If anyone know what this could be please help. I know I need to go to the doctor but I dont know if I should be worried or not. If you have any idea please help!!!

I'm sorry you're going through this. Some women experience bleeding in their pregnancy and go on to be just fine. For others, it's a sign of a miscarriage. Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure is to have an ultrasound. It may be worth the cost to have your mind set at ease. It may be something as simple as left over blood in your uterus, a small irritation on your cervix, or a placenta that is laying close to your cervix. However, it can also be a sign of something more. Good luck!

I don't want to worry you, but this is how my miscarriage started. I didn't go to the doctor until after I was in the middle of a full fledged miscarriage, but there is nothing that they could do anyways, whether I had gotten there earlier or not. You need to rest and take it easy and probably seeing a Dr. or another health care professional wouldn't hurt. I hope everything works out for you and good luck to you.

The cramping and back pain and stuff, unless really severe, is normal. The bleeding thing you're talking about I experienced with my 3rd pregnancy. She is fine btw. But it did scare the crap out of me. Lay down and drink a TON of water. Right now you're cervix is building its plug. And sometimes (as in my case) that means some of the plug tissue finds its way down. I can't right now remember why the water helps with the cramping, I just remember it does.

Dont fret girl it could be nothing. Pregnancy is a very complicated issue and each woman s pregnancy differs from the other.. Get it checked out a.s.a.p just to put your mind at ease.. Let us know when its born . I want to know if its a boy or a girl.. I bet anything that your worrying over nothing. I had sisters that had all sort of weird things happen to their bodies when they were prego.. God its great to be a Male...

No i would go back to the doctor. Light cramoing is normal but bleeding unless approved by a doctor is not and severe cramping is not either

first trimester spotting is normal (this is what my ob/gyn told me)...so is minor cramping and back pain...MINOR. If it is severe bleeding and sever pain then you need to go to the ER again I'm afraid. I would go anyways JUST TO make sure....you know? I've been about 4 times because i was cramping or bleeding and they told me to come anytime i though anything was wrong....you would rather be safe then sorry.

I'm no expert, but I think it's probably ok if you're not bleeding or having bad cramps. If you had coverage, I would say go to the doctor right away just to be sure. try webmd.. It will have a checklist you can go through and see if it says to go to the hospital

I would say go to the doctor anyway just to fin out because us telling you yes or no is not going to make you sure of what is going on so just go to the doctor and find out what is happening then you can take further action from there
CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR PREGNANCY AND I HOPE EVRYTHING TURNS OUT FINE
