really mean. Every single person who ever lived has done that, it doesn't matter whether the insult is race related, or sex related, or height/weight related. This is none of our or your business to judge him.

What is so bad about it? Depends on your out look. It was an emotional outburst that cetain people and ethnic groups can exploit for their own benifit, certainly. America has devolved into a benevolent police state, and keeping people seperate and dividing them is an important step into keeping the population in a state of fear, which is easier for for a government to condition the people into "keeping in line" by supplying them with the illusion that more government control is needed.
As a side thought, what "punishment" did Jesse Jackson recieve as an ethical, moral leader get when he insulted jewish people? Michael Richards is a comedian who failed under pressure and he is being raked mercilessly over the coals. Jesse Jackson in an arguably much higher moral position just made an apology and it was never heard about again.

Michael Richards is obviously majorly prejudice...yes we all say stuff we don't mean but he took it a million steps too far. I have never called anyone the n word no matter how pist I was at them. This is not saying something you don't mean this is saying something full of hate. I am not condoning the people that were calling him a cracker neither they were very wrong for doing this as well. As far as them receiving money for this - I totally do not agree with. If I were them I would call it even...first of all they were being extremly rude interupting the show to heckle him and second of all they were wrong for spitting out racial remarks too. I will even go as far as saying it sounds to me like the whole thing was planned like hey lets see if we could get him upset with us and then try to extort him for money. As soon as I heard about the ordeal I knew them asking for money wouldn't be far behind.
On another note it seems to me that this world is now doing a reverse discrimination against white people. There are so many programs that assist african americans but not the whites there are people who can sue people for being called the n word but not being able to sue for being called a cracker or what have you. I think we all need to get along regardless of race or religion beliefs or the color of our skin. Retribution to me is a joke. Every nationality has been put down and discriminated against. Are the jews asking for retribution...italians...irish? We are not slaves anymore and asking for retribution makes it sound like we are.
