I have a lump near the top of my, forgive me, a-s crack. Its been there for a few days and it has been causing pain. Whenever i sit, lay on my back or bend over it will hurt. It feels like it could be bruised or something along those lines. What should i do? Does it sound serious enough to go to the doctor?

its a cyst and is very common here,if it gets really infected you will need to see a doctor

It may be a pimple or if you were struck or fell it could be caused by a fluid build up do to an injury. If the discomfort is too much and there is a possibility you injured yourself then you should have it checked out. A pimple can be very painful and may take several days to pop or go away and on occasion they form a boil that needs to be lanced by a doctor.

in this day of an age, you can't afford to brush anything off. i would see a doc. it will also give u peace of mind. good luck.
