Like, if there's a stereotype about a group of people then won't it effect those people who look like them? Also have you personally faced anything like this? What are your thoughts on stereotypes?

Yes stereotypes effect everyone belonging to that one group that's being generalized. Stereotypes are the reason for so much hatred among people. It's easier to put labels on people instead of getting to know them. Stereotypes are created out of fear, and ignorance. If most racist people were to look past the stereotypical things they hear about people from a different race there would be no racism, but this is only my opinion...
