I think she's going through a phase...experimenting and such. Or she's doing it because it seems like a trendy thing to do.

I guess it all boils down to which sex you feel most comfortable being around. For some reason my "guy friends" always made me feel secure and comfortable ~ so naturally I got used to the attention. My first sexual experience with a girl was totally gross. She was fine, cute, and popular - but as fine as she was she had been around the block one too many times (if you know what I mean ~ no walls). So when I had my first encounter with a dude it felt natural and comfortable. Besides there were no ties, no commitments...just two Friends hanging out. To date I'm not out and don't think I'll ever be. I don't associate with all "out fags" ~ not that I have anything against them ~ I just don't want to be labled as one. So to answer your question, it's something that grows on you ~ not something you decide in a split second. Hope this answers your question somewhat.

for my area, i think of all and sundry is bisexual. it quite is purely a remember of what you're extra into. Thats why as we communicate ladies look at yet another woman and think of 'she's so quite'. adult males do no longer try this, yet my as we communicate guy pals can tell besides the fact that if a guy is captivating or no longer. I relatively have observed that many all and sundry is labeling themselves bi. the human beings i understand that have categorised themselves bi is by way of the fact they think of they are being 'distinctive.' they do no longer explicitly say that, yet from the way they deem themselves artists and attempt to make themselves observed, i'm able to tell. maybe they are basically bored? i do no longer quite understand the two.

I don't believe you can just turn that quick like turning on some kind of gay switch. I seem to think that from what I hear that people are born that way. But I don't really know. Have to ask a gay expert.

It's generally accepted that we're born with our sexual orientation - nobody really "turns gay".
Your friend might be a straight girl who's "experimenting" - this is very popular these days among young women. She might actually be gay, or bi, or maybe she's really straight, but she might not know yet.

Actually, no one TURNS gay - OR straight. You are either gay OR straight, just as you are either left or right handed. Though it is possible for a straight person to have sex with the same gender, that doesn't make them gay, just as a righthanded person writing with his left hand doesn't make him left handed.
Many straight people have sex with the same gender, yet return to their natural straight identity, and many gay people have sex with the opposite gender, yet return to their natural gay identity. A "Homosexual" is not someone who merely has sex with the same gender; a homosexual is a male or female who is mentally, emotionally, physically, genetically and sexually attracted, and feels internally connected, only to other human members of the same gender, and who can enter into a romantic and sexual relationship or union only with members of the same gender.
A heterosexual who has sex with the same gender, and a homosexual who has sex with the opposite gender, have not changed their sexual orientation; they have merely perverted it. A heterosexual who has had sex with the same gender but returns to the opposite gender does not become "ex-gay" because they were never gay to begin with. To say that such a person is "exgay" is as absurd as saying that a righthanded person who perverted his nature to write with his left hand but then later returned to his natural right hand is "ex-lefthanded" because he was never left handed in the first place.

It doesn't "take" any period of time. People either know their sexual orientation all along, or discover it at some point in their lives, like your friend did.

It's not a transformation. I'm sure she "changed" after she was bitten by the gay vampire. That usually does it.
