What happens when you play a bass thru an electric guitar amp?

I figured it would blow up the amp, I just wanted to make sure.

depends on the size of the amp
anything lower then like 30 watts is just gonna blow up and your tones gonna suck since its made for higher ranges

It works until you blow out the amp, which will happen. Get another amp.
