Who's more important...the people who cast the votes,or the people who count them? if you follow the drift.....

In 2004 the GOP did a far better job in bringing out the votes than the DNC.They played up issues which are important for the religious right wing aka Christian coalition.Add to that the fact that John Kerry has the charisma of a wet newspaper, also voted for the invasion of Iraq(how can that be credible). In 2004 the Democrats did everything wrong that they could possibly do wrong.
They lacked the guts to go with a real new face who would have brought out young voters,Howard Dean. They let him be slaughtered for a ridiculous blown out of proportion nothing.
I'm even surprised Bush didn't win with a bigger percentage.

The actual number of voters who participate in the woting process is really quite a small number. But many non voting people do complain and complain, which is their right. Theres a quote from some movie I think about jury people, You may not get twelve people to agree on anything but you can find something that they can all hate.

it's stupid how everyone TRYED to bring Bush down by saying 'everyone hates you' when clearly everyone LOVES him. wait .. no the democrats don't. Now, I'm not a Bush LOVER here but think about how he won twice in a row. He had more than half of America's vote's. yeah apparently more people like Bush than hate him. Are the republicans going to act as stupid as the democrats do when a Democrat wins for president.
p.s. - the people that hated Bush didn't vote for him. They were ignorant and probably didn't know what they were talking about. but more people liked him than hated. - more people obviuosly trust Bush's decisions - and you don't need to make a joke here becuase all of Bush's decisions are backed up by congress, leader of board memebers, council, cabinet. many thing so when people say they hate him and his decisions - they're just plain ignorant and it makes a lot of people mad.

-- thank you for being informed and not being ignorant.
you don't seem like one of those foolish "Bush-haters"

Because you never vote out a President while at war.
It sounds stupid, but that is the history of Presidential elections.

As a point of information, I did not and do not hate President Bush.

Thank you very much, while you're up!!

The group that hated Bush either didn't vote or they voted for Kerry. 51 million people voted for Kerry btw.

Because you listen to the media tell you everyone hates Bush. They have a political agenda to brainwash you into thinking that. So if your a rep. and you hear that, you will figure whats the use on voting if everyone hates him. It's to try to persuade the election.

Not everyone in America voted for him, and those who hated Bush surely didn't vote for him, but there were a hell of a lot of people who did like him, or at the least, liked him better than Kerry, and so he won. So no, its not stupid. Its democracy

Because for one thing, the NEWS media said that people hated Bush. It just was not true. Some did but ALL of us.

For the other thing, the alternative was just scary.

Does the phrase "stay the course" mean anything to you? The Village Idiot ran while hiding behind two things which got him a lot of votes - his supposed Christianity and the spectre of 9/11. So, the American people, like sheep being led to the slaughter, voted for the fool. I'm proud to say I didn't vote for him either time he ran. Just 780 days left in his reign.

I waited two and a half hours to vote for Bush. I absolutely did not want Kerry in office, the thought scares me to death. I still love George W. I couldn't stand Clinton and was so happy to see him out of office. I still can't figure out how anyone could like Clinton.
