I think this person actually believes the President makes decisions for this country. A President is a figure head, a voice box for teams of scholars some with very different agenda's than you would be comfortable knowing about.

Do you really believe George W makes decisions or for that matter Bill Clinton?

Presidents are coached daily to ensure they answer questions correctly and minimize embarrasement to the "Administration".

We haven't had a free thinking President since Harry Truman destroyed our country by signing the Federal Reserve Act.

It's a hard job for one man to deal with all the crap that's going on in hi world and all these things that he must be running around doing - and then presidents usually visits other states when something bad happens or for any reason. but the president also ha Congress and other members of the board on his side - So he's not making all these decisions - he's not even allowed to make some of them. Congress and other board members have to out it through him first or he to them. So yeah it's hard but he has a LOT of people to go to.

Bill Clinton did a wonderful job as President in his entire term the only thing they can say about him is that he got a b l o w j o b and lied about it.

Of course, that's why he has a cabinet and a large number of advisers, speech writers and people that constantly are taking the pulse of the nation. Of course is his final decision after he analizes all the information in front of him

Yes, which is why he has a full staff to support him... First, he has hand chosen advisors who get him most of his information and advise him on many issues. Then there are the secrataries of defense, state, eduaction, etc. who also provide him the information and advice he needs to do his job.

Of course it is, that's why he has a vice president, cabinet of secretaries, and a huge staff. It's a whole administration that comes with a presidency, not just one man.

No, if the president is smart enough to surround himself with good advisers and is smart enough to listen to them, then the job is manageable, but alas that is not the case with arrogant hard headed, stupid, Dumb A**, Bush!
