Its the other way round, surely??

Indian pitches are traditionally slow and allow the ball to turn, and those in Australia and SA are fast and hard, allowing the ball to bounce higher..

Its to do with natural soil structure and weather in different parts of the world, its not a deliberate thing.

are u kidding? india has one of the slowest tracks in the world.. cause they rely on spin mostly.
