It was about these animals and dinosaurs that could transform into machine like things....one side's leader was a gorilla and the other's side leader was a t-rex. What is this show called again?

Transformers: Beast Wars, or Beast Wars: Transformers.
It was a CGI cartoon in the late 90's early 00's The good guy Gorrilla was named Optimus Primal, a play on Optimus Prime from every other incarnation of Transformers. The bad Guy T-Rex was Megatron, the same as every bad guy leader in every Transformers series.
Good guys = Maximals, Voice Command: Maximize
Bad guys = Predacons, Voice Command: Terrorize
some cast as i recall it, Good guys:
Optimus= Gorrilla
Rat Trap= rat
Cheetor= cheetah
Dinobot= raptor, he was bad but turned good, or pretended to
Rhinox= Rhino
Silver Bolt= half wolf-half eagle?
Bad Guys
Megatron= T-rex
Tarantulas= Tarantula
Black Arachnia= Spider
Waspinator= Wasp
Teradive(sp)= a Pterodactyl
As I understood the plot, they were TFs from a good distance in the Future, who were some how sent back through time and space where they landed on earth some time after the TF's from the 1980's cartoon crashed, as I recall an episode in which the Beasts found the Arc ship and had to protect it from the bad guys. They showed the 'sleeping' bodies of several of the major characters from the 80's show. Beast Wars lasted 2 seasons and was Followed by Beast Machines, in which Megatron escaped and thanks to the mysteries of time travel was able to conquer Cyberton before the good guys got there.
