The only thing stopping India is the fact that all the races and cultures in India are not United.Sikhs hate Hindus and each state in India acts like a seperate country. If that stops and insurgents are shown no mercy then India will be a superpower. If India is united nothing can stop it.In the cold war the Soviet Union split up so they failed. The U.S sticked together and prevailed.India should not be so individual as what part they come from. When someone asks where are you from inside India you should say "I am from India".India should help its poor instead of leaving them behind.200 million are still poor.If they too are given status and education then they too can help India.1 billion minds will combine. The rich should not treat the poor like dust. They should include the poor as a part of society. That is what the U.S does. The help their poor. The U.S has 300 million people working together and they are a Superpower.India has 1 billion people but why are they still not a superpower?Simply because of these factors.

It need reorientation of our value system and realise that means are more important ends. It needs courage and also an equitable social order. It also need a total change in our governance. One economist said long back that Indians are honest by nature, but Indian laws making them dishonest. We need more transparancy and accountability in the administration and also policy. The economic reforms limited to corporate sector. But far reaching reforms should come in all aspects of the society.
