I'm not really smitten with him. He's a good worker, but nothing special IMO...just curious as to what others think about him and why he's so popular.
Honest question, not a "hater" question. I don't hate him, I just don't understand what all the hype is about.

Because he is one of a very few line of big men that possesses technically and submission skills besides just being a powerhouse, which is what all of the big men (except Triple H if you consider him one) are (Batista, Umaga, etc.). He is also extremely quick and agile for a guy his size and weight, and he proved that by being right in step with alot of the X Division superstars (like AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels) when he was in that division, where most people his size would either run out of gas or wait for the high flier and quick wrestler to make a wrong move. Umaga is nothing compared to Samoa Joe and it is laughable that the WWE tried to copy Samoa Joe with him. I hope that answers your question.

no remember if Eddie Fatu has been contained in the corporation for a lengthy time period than Joe. no remember if he has finished extra issues in Japan and the self sustaining circuit. he's doing an glaring parody of Joe. And Joe's perfect at wrestling than Umaga. I advise, purely seem the suits he had with CM Punk at ROH. guy, those were suits. And he's a dominant rigidity in TNA. And if human beings thinks that Joe is the ripoff, congratulations, they have gained the Mark of the 12 months award........

I have no idea, the guy has obviously never been introduced to a gym, WWE would never hire the guy, plus his hardly that great of a wrestler, his very over rated, Umaga is a lot better than Samoa Joe, whydo you think that WWE did not sign Samoa Joe when he had the chance? simply because he is not good enough
