what does it mean, referring to a stock. " this stock might make an eod run" what will happen when that happens?

EOD = end of day

Stocks sometimes make a run at the end of the day. A decent, but not great example would be this past Friday, if you look at the chart for the day, you'll see EFUT make a run around 1pm and then again at the end of the day. Here's the link to the EFUT chart for the last few days so you can see what the last part of Friday looks like.

The reason for this is this is the time most professionals trade and manage their portfolios, so big money generally moves in the last hour. As such as big money moves, so does the price of the stock.

We'd have better examples normally, but Friday was a pretty big down day in the market, so there weren't very many end of day runs.
