Heya! I don't do a lot of gaming, just console gaming really, Xbox stuff. I did recently get a shexxy new computer though, that is able to run pretty much any game out there, so I want to test drive it! I like fantasy genre games, particularly with vampires, witches, those kindsa things (cuz i'm a big kid at heart who is living in an alternate reality heh). I don't really wanna plug the new comp into the internet, so internet-free games only pls. What would you reccomend? Can ya give me a brief description of a few games that might suit?

Cheers guys!

One game for the computer you might want to check out is "Vampire: Bloodlines." It is a little older, a year or 2, but it is a pure vampire game where you make decisions about who to side with and what to do. It is also pretty cheap because of its age. You can check it out at amazon.com and read the reviews.
"Oblivion" was also mentioned, it is extremely long and intricate, very good game, but not for the very casual gamer.
There was also a new Might and Magic, "Dark Messiah", just released which is like "Oblivion". I have not played this game but you can check all of these out at amazon and see what people have to say.

I will second the above opinions. Vampire Bloodlines is a must play by any vampire affecianado. Just be sure to download the official patch and then also look on FilePlanet for the fan-made patches which really improved the game. Oblivion is just a must-play game by anyone who likes a good fantasy, and yes, there is a quest in it where you can hunt and/or become vampires.

I will throw in one more recommendation, if you like Dungeons & Dragons then you should definitely check out the latest Neverwinter Nights 2, which is possibly the best implementation of D&D on the PC ever. It has a fantastic story, developed by a lot of the same fine folks that did Planescape: Torment, possibly the best RPG ever game developed for the PC (1999).

Oh! One more recommendation. If you're looking for something a little more action oriented with some fantastic physics puzzles, check out Dark Messiah of MIght and Magic. Dark Messiah is more actiony, meaning you need to have some "twitch" skill for it, but if you got the skills then definitely try this game because the action is great.

That is all. Have fun!!

Oblivion! It's got it all, is pretty hefty on using your computer, especially if you crank up all the graphics options, it's got vampires and it's a fantasy setting.
