Perhaps the most impressive job would belong to someone who risks their life every day...someone like a pilot or a property insurance adjuster. I would also be impressed by someone who worked as a vulcanologist because volcanoes can erupt unpredictably.
I think that being a National Geographic photographer would also be very impressive, considering how many skilled photographers there are out there.

I would never be able to know without trying the job itself. To me the most impressive job is the one I can be happy in and get satisfaction from. We spend the most years of our lives at work and just to be able to get up in the morning and not say 'damn it I have to go to work now' is a good thing.

first...
the most important one! !well it seems like this one has been neglected a lot over the past 30 years. and it is being a MOTHER... this job has been not keep up in all households..
second...
DAD, and this one also has gone to almost just bringing home the paycheck..
third....
teacher, and this has been lowered in ALL school systems to just about a day care person .with limited powers over the children they watch do outrageous stuff..
and fourth...
any type of Doctor...they also have been put under a lot of stress by insurance companies and people putting in wrong full law suits, ones they make up...this makes doctors not being able to do their jobs they way they should be able to...
and also some of these doctors should not be doctors because they stink as a doctor...
fifth...law enforcement..any kind...their hands are tied also like teachers, doctors, and Dads
and you all know it is so true....
good luck

I think parenting. The pay is terrible; little thanks, and a parent needs to have so many skills like being a nurse, lawyer, coach, teacher, the patience of an angel and disipline like the devil. To put a child before yourself and most of all be able to laugh at life. I could go on!

Perhaps a decorated military general or Prime Minister. Maybe even an astronaut or nuclear physicist. (definitely not president) I'm not really impressed with MDs or attorneys, though. They don't always know what they're doing.

Ah, the FBI sounds greater spectacular. in basic terms asserting "Oh, im in the FBI" makes you look complicated and complicated.. yet, a lawyer is a properly-enjoyed profession and that's cool and does sound particularly spectacular and makes you look clever. Their the two spectacular however the FBI does a great style of hardcore stuff on an analogous time as attorneys guard fugitives..i think the FBI sounds slightly greater hardcore and bold.

I heard of a job that this guy has here in NH. He gets paid six digits a year to drive around the state and take pictures of the foliage, and report how they look. Mind you the fall only lasts two months a year....the rest of the year off!
